Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes
Servings: 6

🍗 Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 lb bowtie pasta
  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (plus more for topping)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: Crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick

🍝 Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and season with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, black pepper, and a pinch of salt.
Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Create the Creamy Base:
Pour in the heavy cream and add the softened cream cheese. Stir until the mixture is smooth and begins to thicken slightly.
  5. Add the Cheeses:
Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until melted and creamy. Taste and adjust salt or spice as needed.
  6. Combine Everything:
Add the cooked chicken and drained pasta into the sauce. Toss well to coat everything evenly in the rich, garlicky cream sauce.
  7. Serve:
Garnish with extra mozzarella on top, a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, and fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy the ultimate comfort pasta!
