🍗 Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 lb bowtie pasta
- 4 cups heavy cream
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (plus more for topping)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- Optional: Crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick
🍝 Instructions
- Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bowtie pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside. - Sauté the Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and season with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, black pepper, and a pinch of salt.
Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside. - Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. - Create the Creamy Base:
Pour in the heavy cream and add the softened cream cheese. Stir until the mixture is smooth and begins to thicken slightly. - Add the Cheeses:
Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until melted and creamy. Taste and adjust salt or spice as needed. - Combine Everything:
Add the cooked chicken and drained pasta into the sauce. Toss well to coat everything evenly in the rich, garlicky cream sauce. - Serve:
Garnish with extra mozzarella on top, a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, and fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy the ultimate comfort pasta!
