It’s basically brownies meets chocolate lava cake meets pound cake — a dense, moist, chocolatey loaf baked with hot fudge swirled throughout. The inside stays soft and molten, while the outside forms a glossy crackly crust.

Perfect with ice cream, whipped cream, or simply eaten warm with a spoon.

For the brownie bread

  • 1 box brownie mix (18–19 oz)
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup hot fudge sauce, warmed
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

  • Powdered sugar (optional)
